I feel like the mugging and stealing system in apb was all very boring. We need to leave it out of the game or make it something good. And I would like the last idea so get your ideas down there and we will discuss it.
How about an actual heist not like the one in gta but similar. Like a random pre rendered room that you can enter via any defined shop door and rob the items off? The enforcers around would receive an alert in their phone (should it be implemented) and could rush to the shop. The crim could gain higher notoriety for every cop killed in his or her way to a stash point and would get a payout multiplied by the notoriety gained?
This could work in conjunction with enforcers where he who killed the crim would obtain the items and obtain bounty proportional to notoriety gained by the crim before his death. He could return the items and get some additional money by the store depending on the amount stolen.
There should be an engage button so that the player could decide to engage or let it pass. Would avoid griefing. Timer would be good yes so that this is not the only thing that a crims do. Make it look like they'd have to lay low for a certain amount of time.So you mean like making it kind of an event. That if the criminals start one all the criminals and enforcers would then fight it out together to get the rewards. And then also make a timer on such events so you can't do multiple at a time and you can't do immediately after one finished.
Would be very fun.
